War Crimes - Julian Bronte Glenn

He was only nineteen years of age,
Much too young to be consumed with this rage,
For a man he's never known.

Dropped in a foreign field,
And taught to kill and steal,
Now he's just another war pig clone.

Though the masses they protest,
Uncle Sam says it's for the best,
So he trades in his jeans, for army greens.

War crimes,
We're killing each other over nickles and dimes.
War crimes,
Raise the flag and ring deaths times.
When will we realize,
They're filling our heads with lies.
There ain't no good guys,
There's only bad guys,
You can't compromise.
When they ask you to join the ranks,
Ya gotta stand up and say no thanks,
Save a human life,
Whoa oh oh.

The tears stained the page of the letter she read,
We regret to inform you the letter said,
But Johnny, is missing in action.
They'd never see her crying,
Those who glorified Johnny's dying,
She pulled the trigger, it was a chain reaction.

War crimes,
We're killing each other over nickles and dimes.
War crimes,
Raise the flag and ring deaths times.
When will we realize,
They're filling our heads with lies.
There ain't no good guys,
There's only bad guys,
You can't compromise.
When they ask you to join the ranks,
Ya gotta stand up and say no thanks,
Save a human life,
Whoa oh oh.
